Why We Created DoubleDesk

DoubleDesk was built to give businesses the kind of smart, reliable support usually reserved for big companies. We believe AI should be easy to use, genuinely helpful, and something you can trust every day. Our goal is simple: help businesses save time, deliver better customer service, and grow with confidence.

Our Story

In 1989, our founder Trevor Gardiner started a software company that went on to build EventsAIR, the platform that runs events at some of the world’s biggest organisations, including multiple Olympic Games, the G20, and over 20,000 events every year.

Three decades of building software for demanding professional users taught us something important. The small businesses that keep their cities running - the florists, the motels, the law firms, the day spas - the medical clinics, were being left out of the AI conversation. Tools were built for engineers, marketed to enterprises, and impossible to set up without IT support.

DoubleDesk is what we built for them. A complete AI platform set up by talking, not coding. Backed by a team that has been building business-critical software for more than three decades.
